Why do all these "punk" genres seem to forget that "punk" isn't a synonym for "alternative imaginings". Punk is about fighting back against the status quo in a system where oppression is normalized. And not just fighting back, but making some progress. Punk is fighting for a better tomorrow.

I made a visual guide for the 59 monster tamers (and Pokemon HOME) available on Switch. There may be more, but I haven't found them yet! The more people complain about modern Pokemon, the harder I work on building lists like this. Pokemon has rival games, on Pokemon's console. Play something else.

The BlackWarGreymon section of Digimon Adventure 02 is my ideal Digimon blend, because it's a lot of explosive boss battles interspersed with laser-shooting dragons saying things like "IF I AM A DIGITAL CREATION, DOES IT MEAN THAT THE PAIN I FEEL IN MY HEART ISN'T REAL?"

Friendly reminder that I block people who post some variant of "it won't matter because nothing matters" on sight. Not even because they're wrong, but because I find this habit of saying the most tedious and predictable thing as if that makes you an edgy truth teller incredibly grating.
