I have the first season (and seasons 2-5) on DVD and it's fascinating watching how quickly the show evolved the order of acts. By the fifth show, it was set in stone and very rarely altered. The first ep is as different as ST:TOS pilot "The Cage" is from the eventual series.

Interesting to see him here but Ant was the real thing. He leaned hard into his pretty boy image but I think he was more in on the joke than anybody else. "Goody Two Shoes" was his "Out Of Step" (despite his promiscuous image).
