There’s the usual avalanche of Revelations that Farage and his sycophants are wasting everybody’s time. They promised savings via their so-called DOG farce and they put council taxes up, idiots who voted for the racist scum need their heads tested.

So much for Tice's claim to have never met Nathan Gill.

It's a system issue, but sadly I don't think Labour will clean it up properly.

Donors more often give to those who already align rather than seeking to change contrary views.

I don't think Starmer's failure on Gaza is down to some donations; way more complex. We'll have to agree to disagree.

I know Labour received corporate donations; they're registered that's how you know. The whole system needs reform, especially as regards foreign money & no limits outside of elections (which *could* allow eg Musk to give hundreds of millions to far right 😱).

So Farage wants to scrap double council tax on second homes - a policy that's been working well to raise more money for councils and also free up more homes for locals. And instead ban new homes from being sold to anyone not already local - a policy shown to grind housebuilding to virtually zero?

And those of us with mixed families. I got briefly freaked out a few weeks ago that we'd been out as a (visibly mixed) family on Sat night when far right thugs were about. We didn't see any such thugs & nothing happened, but I really don't want my son to experience racism while he's young (he's 7).

It’s not just the Jewish suitcase at the back of the hall. It’s the Muslim suitcase, the Hindu suitcase, the Sikh suitcase all sitting at the back of the hall, with many asking why they should stay in a country where both the left & right are immersed in racism & xenophobia.

It is extraordinary to report that, in 2025, the Jewish suitcase is back in the hall, waiting for the moment of sudden flight. I feel nothing but shame

I just watched the video of the Portland Cop threatening to arrest an ICE agent if they drive their truck through a crowd. Now I see this where the General of the Oregon National Guard says if they get called up they will protect the protesters. People are fed up.

I think we're talking about a different incident. This was a small business accused of links to an Israeli arms firm, links which were denied.

I must admit I didn't realise military personnel were affected by US govt shutdown. I thought it was just civil servants. Not that it's ok not to pay civil servant of course!

Historically speaking, not paying your military traditionally has pretty negative consequences for authoritarian regimes whose power is based on the exertion of military power.

Totally agree re recognising Palestine; it's been LibDem policy for many years and Layla Moran proposed in parliament.

I know trade unions are annoyed with Starmer, but they still gave around £2.4m to Labour for GE2024. Did any donors give more than that? I thought not, but I could be wrong!

Again, an MP with some balls needs to use their Parliamentary Privilege to skewer Farage, when he's next in the Commons chamber, over his disavowals of Gill's activities and his connections with both him, and his Russian paymasters.
