She wasn't murdered because of her phone use though was she. As the CPS and judge stated, a large motivation was transphobia. That transphobia being promoted via UK media and politicians

'A couple of bad policies' that includes attempts to eliminate trans people from UK life by:
- putting me in with men in hospital or prison (if I was arrested for protesting against genocide)
- wanting to put me in a male hostel if I was SA'd
- permit my GP to deny HRT I've had for 30+ years

Lam's proposal is to refuse future grants of ILR but to cancel past grants of permanent status to anyone who is not likely to be a fiscal net contributor, and anyone "who has accessed state support" once they got permanent status. That will revoke pledges to those told this was their permanent home.
