I asked Chrome to read Joan Smith's anti-trans tirade to me & it was like two unhinged MAGA podcasters sharing slurs. I then realised that Chrome Artificial Insanity summary had turned on. Reverted to text reader for the slightly less unhinged JS original. FU Google for that extra misleading slant

We must #ChangeTheNarrative!

Dr Beth Upton was fully acquitted of all wrongdoing in yesterday’s Employment Tribunal decision. Yet she has been vilified by a toxic & poisonous media for months.
It must stop!

Congratulations, and solidarity, to you, Beth!

I spoke in Parliament today to challenge the misinformation from those claiming this tribunal as a 'win' for the anti-trans agenda.

In fact it found Ms Peggie harassed a colleague for being trans, and it dismissed almost all her claims.

It also found that trans segregation is not supported in law.
We've written & published a short summary statement regarding the Sandie Peggie V NHS Fife Health Board employment tribunal case & the judgment given yesterday. Much of the media coverage has missed key information, the most important aspect being that all claims against Dr Beth Upton were dismissed

Two ways to read this. One is “she lost on every substantive claim, completely failed in her attempts to ban trans staff from the workplace, and won mild procedural victories against her employers handling of her case”.
The other way is, I guess, “point one is longer so it must be more important”

Excellent summary of another Gender Conservative failure at Employment Tribunal, which is being spun as a success for GCs by 'pro trans' BBC, Guardian and all of the other right-wing outlets
Mini thread on the ET decision in Peggie

Top line: It says exactly what we have been saying for months. The decision of the Supreme Court was not to turn the Equality Act 2010 into a nationwide bathroom ban - regardless of how anti-trans organisations have sought to misrepresent the law.

This is how Spanish TV announced the boycott of Eurovision

If Russia is banned for what they're doing to Ukraine, surely Israel should be banned for what they're doing in Palestine?

When is the UK going to boycott Eurovision?

If you are a trans person in the UK you should strongly consider opting out of a summary care record, or restricting to just medication and allergies as it is likely to out you as trans.

You can request a copy from your GP to see what info is there currently.
Summary Care Records (SCR) - information for patients - NHS England Digital
Your Summary Care Record is a short summary of your GP medical records. It tells other health and care staff who care for you about the medicines you take and your allergies.

🤍 We stand with every family affected by the Girlguiding policy change

What happened to this young girl is not an abstract policy debate. It's a child who was excited to be part of Rainbows with her friends, tried her sessions, loved them, was ready to join. Now she's been told she doesn't belong.

Another 'Brexit Freedom' dividend... For the US pharmaceutical industry
NHS to pay 25% more for US drugs

That's an extra £3 billion a year

Why?

Because Brexit, taking us outside the EU, makes the UK weaker than if we were inside the the EU

The exclusion of trans CHILDREN from the guides is directly due to the actions of this cowardly & deeply transphobic “government”.

It could have easily overturned the “Supreme” Court misjudgment but has chosen not to. This is why these CHILDREN are being harmed & bullied by an obscenely rich bigot

I thought I could not be shocked by what prominent transphobes feel able to say about me. Turns out I was wrong.

Here is Richard Dunstan, a prominent commentator closely associated with the Sex Matters charity, speculating that I enjoyed being sexually assaulted as a child.

The additional conversion, and other, abuses to be perpetrated against youth as part of the NHS 'puberty blockers trial' are nauseating. No wonder they didn't want any subject matter experts involved, only anti-trans conversion abuse ideologues. I'm sickened
Some leaked (not verified) info on the puberty blocker trial linked here. In my own thread I will briefly highlight the two key measures they are prioritising. A short thread 1
A Substacker named Ben Ryan tweeted that "the long-awaited UK puberty blocker clinical trial protocol is out."

Shortly thereafter he deleted the post. I can't find a public version of the protocol but here's what I was able to salvage from the screenshot + post.
