I hear and see your concerns. Over the weekend, a couple users hosted on Blacksky's PDS were banned from the Bluesky app and thus the Bluesky API servers. This was a weakness of our system I've been aware of and hoped we had more time to address before any kind of public incident. 1/11

i have met a number of pigs, including pigs i later went on to eat (we have small farmers in our family) and quite frankly, getting to know pigs has made me feel even less bad about eating them

The confusion and anger around this, misplaced though it ultimately seems to be, says so much about how badly @jay.bsky.team and team have burned through all trust and presumption of good faith we used to have in this platform.

It'll take a *lot* of work to rebuild that, if they even care to.
