Ferry charges could be added to that list. I don't think many ppl realise how much ferries are subsidised in Scotland. I went from Shetland mainland on a ferry, drove across the island, caught another ferry to Unst. Car and 2 adults return fare £17. Return ferry from Isle of Wight 2 + car = £146.

After a legal threat from GB News presenter Michelle Dewberry, Virgin Active turned their back on a long record of inclusion and enforced a changing room and bathroom ban on trans people across all their gyms.

But Michelle Dewberry is wrong: the Supreme Court judgment doesn’t force businesses to rip up their policies on changing rooms or toilets. The law hasn’t changed. The Equality and Human Rights Commission’s guidance is just that: guidance.
