Mr Laos. Just when you though this year was a bit quiet on the insanely huge, bedazzled, symbolic costumes along comes Mr Laos and blows everyone else out of the water. This is insane, but it's also *so* good.

There’s an ad warning on the dangers of stabbing people at the pictures and the denouement is a kid going “oh my days there’s no safe place to get stabbed” and I feel so bad that it makes me laugh. It reminds me of Tony Burgess’ bit where he got threatened “I’m gonna shoot you were it hurts”

There’s a comment piece in The Times about sickness benefits mysteriously going up and no mention of Covid, long Covid, the effects of lockdown etc. Boosters help people stay healthy, but now they are only available to the very old or people who can afford them.

Deeply. I can't see any reason not to vaccinate everyone who wants it, much more so people with asthma and chronic conditions.
