Saw a horrific, utterly chilling video of an illegal ICE detainment out of Chicago.

What's extra scary is that if you've been following the news you could honestly saw "Which one?"

I never thought we'd be seeing these sorts of images DAILY emerging from the US. I was taught in school this was evil

Schools aren’t using air purifiers because they are too costly to run as opposed to data centers that are cheap as chips and fine. The way we have devalued human life ought to be studied but we have also defunded higher education so 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I hope I do not have to do a "reverent croak" (a la Hunger Games mockingjay whistle) but this is so so true. Tight narratives win politics. I think a lot of liberals are uncomfortable with that, but they need to get over it and start telling the stories are working often and loudly.

Part of why I love acupuncture, other than it is making my leg feel better, is I have a very high pain tolerance when I know the pain is not indicative of anything going SERIOUSLY WRONG in my body.

So my guy is like "Is that comfortable?" and I'm like "Could go more uncomfortable, tbh. Stab'em in!"

Once I left the company I worked for when I graduated college, every job, project, & opportunity I've had in some way came from social media.

Every dollar I've earned since 2013 only existed to be made due to my social media in one way or another.

(very little of that was actual social media WORK)

I meant that, as a continuity nerd, until DC re-established their hypertime approach to continuity from 2018-2023 it was hard to care about any Pre-Flashpoint material outside of the major established storylines of the big JLers, as it was unclear if any of it still existed.

Now it is more defined.
