I used to read him because ppl I respected read him and then when he was in Chicago he said something like “oh vallas and Johnson are both dems so either on is good. And also- you have way too many parks here”

I’m giving you a sense of how naïve I was. After they left, I went to the library to look for Marx. So that was my introduction to Karl Marx.
