I had to start condensing down to one lanyard per show.
A pile of conference badges hanging from a multitude of lanyards. At the fore is Unreal Fest Shanghai. A number of badges sport an impressive array of badge flags proclaiming “Bad with Names”, “Bad with Faces”, and more. Delta Airlines medallion status badge tags are also present.

Known issue that's been backlogged, unfortunately (issues.unrealengine.com/issue/UE-150...)

IIRC the recommendation is to sample it multiple times (not ideal, I know), but the TL;DR it'd look something like this snippet I whipped up a few years ago: dev.epicgames.com/community/sn...

TIL that NDC has a new method for querying particle data in BP :) The basic callback interface was severely limited. This looks much more powerful. Neat!

I get the allure of being a morning person. The high of reading a book over my morning tea whilst sitting on my porch and waving to my neighbors passing is unparalleled.

It is mitigated, somewhat, by the crushing low of knowing this moment is fleeting, and I'll regress once the jet lag wears off.

That’s strange! I would expect that on Low scalability you’d be disabling Nanite altogether. How are you setting to Low graphics?

Visually debugging vectors and positions in Niagara is important, and it's easy to do using the built-in DrawDebug interface.

You can also achieve this with sprite or mesh renderers, custom bindings, and a single custom module. 🧵
