I wrote a little about some of the little details you might have missed in this video and why it hit me so hard as a trans person this morning:

the best part of Boston is you can live outside of it and still get to the Boston downtown in 23 minutes, to be fair

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

her 'r's couldn't decide which accent was right so sometimes you'd hear a northern or Boston R that's *also* rolled/fluttered

not only have I heard a north dakota 20y Boston 10y accent, I heard her speak an even wilder southern Spain accent when speaking Spanish because that's where her instructor was from. it was pretty interesting ngl

It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

Broadview’s “free speech” curfew starts soon, at 6pm.

This has always been part of the GOP playbook: Downplay incidents of right-wing violence, and then repurpose them as supposed acts of leftist terrorism for public consumption. They first did this in 2020.

Bondi: "We've been living through a horrific cycle of political violence in this country ... night after night antifa wrecks havoc on the streets of our cities. In Minnesota, a gunman murdered a state lawmaker and her husband."

party loyalty on the side that isn't allowed to lie as much has to actually be earned, and if people aren't loyal, well, that's not actually the fault of the wary people, it's *a party ignoring it's signals because they like one guy over actually winning* since he keeps being regressive!
nirebryce.breadthcharge.net
are you new here because if you aren't you're wildly misinformed even on recent history if you're going to be stating this crap confidently.

Newsome isn't even top 3 but people keep trying to make fetch happen because it means the party doesn't have to change it's ways

And your plan is to let them have certain additional parts of Project 2025 without opposition?

Do you think letting them get a win while conserving their resources to use against you elsewhere is strategically wise?

We vastly outnumber them, bog them down on every inch they want to take.

Unconstitutionally taking money that the law says must be spent on one purpose & using it for something else—when it's to establish personalist control over the FUCKING MILITARY—is about as dangerous a constitutional crisis/failure as you can imagine

The Office of Management and Budget sent a notification to Congress about their intent to use research and development funds to pay members of the military, two sources with direct knowledge tell NBC News.

A spokesperson for the OMB confirmed to NBC News that it plans to use the research and development funds and that there are two years' worth of funds available within the Department of Defense.

This is a letter from one random loser in the House bitching at social media platforms with a vague threat backed by no actual extant legal authority. If your response to getting this letter was to immediately knee jerk ban a bunch of people, you have no business running a social media platform.

Seems like it.
Letter to the CEOs of major us based social media platforms including BlueSky

Gentlemen,

Thank you for the service you provide to our Republic, and may God be with you and
your family. America is suffering under the dark weight of horror after the graphic, televised murder of a heroic Christian leader, Mr. Charlie Kirk. I ask that you reflect upon your own unique responsibility to participate in the very appropriate, legal and Constitutionally sound response.

Please be advised that your platforms are rightfully expected to expeditiously remove all posts that have celebrated the political assassination ofCharlie Kirk. Further, the authors of these posts are tobe identified and banned from your platform, as well as any new pages they may create.

Gleeful celebration of the heinous murder of an American citizen, brazenly published within the public forums of social media, is not to be tolerated within the accepted and legal parameters ofa free and humane society, and I have initiated a Congressional effort to force accountability. If you shield these offenders, section 230 will not protect your platform from vigorous exposure.

I hold the gavel for the Federal Law Enforcement subcommittee of the House Oversight
and Government Reform Committee, and my Chair has specific Congressional authority over Federal regulatory law enforcement. My Committee will be a leading force in the righteous endeavor to protect the legitimate free exchange of ideas and opinions, which requires the vigilant maintenance of appropriate behaviors within our publicly accessed social media forums.

The reasonable restriction of public statements that lie far beyond the standards of our own society is not an oppression of free speech, it is, rather, the protection of free speech. Having the will to guard the standards and integrity of the infrastructure that enables the expression of opinion in our public discourse is a crucial responsibility that we must embrace. I am hopeful to receive your full cooperation, and I expect a formal response to this letter of encouragement within one business week.

Respectfully,
Chay bein
Clay Higgins
Member of Congress

CC:
The Honorable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America
The Honorable Pam Bondi, Attorney General, U.S. Department of Justice

There is no constitutional governance so long as we leave Trump et al regime in power.

Why bother passing a budget* & lending legitimacy to this farce?

*impeach & remove is best; strong efforts via power of purse (maybe but as we see…) & other measures to return to constitutional governance next.

I wrote a book about January 6, 2021.

Want to know when the Trump administration began its systematized lying about antifa and the FBI being behind MAGAs' attack on the Capitol?

January 6, 2021.

Rudy Giuliani had a suite at the Willard Hotel that was the command center for broadcasting that lie.

There are reports that the *entire* office of special education at the US Dept of Education has been cut. These hardworking folks ensure kids with disabilities get equal access to a quality education.

America’s children deserve better than this.

I think the fact that we allowed cops to lie openly with no real consequences is part of How We Got Here. If the people with the ability to shoot others in the street are allowed to lie about it, you can't expect other officials to abide by a higher standard.

New — Video shared with me shows ICE officers in DC detaining a man on Friday.

Bystander filming asks man for his name. ICE agent lies and says he’s not allowed to speak to him “by law” and another says “We’ve arrested American citizens for being too close…If he gets any closer, put him in cuffs.”
