UPDATE: In emailed statement to me / @reason.com, DHS alleges that WGN-TV producer Debbie Brockman "threw objects at Border Patrol’s car and she was placed under arrest for assault on a federal law enforcement officer."

Just this morning, Ghana’s foreign minister wrote on X that the country had “directly and unambiguously conveyed to US authorities” that Abrego cannot be deported there.

To my knowledge the church I went to growing up never went this far, but my experience with evangelical churches is that they're obsessed with indoctrinating congregations with the belief that they are constantly under threat and that every Other exists to harm the pure souls of the ingroup.
