Being a logical and intelligent person with a mental operating system that randomly wants to self destruct is so weird because I’ll get these horrible, harmful intrusive thoughts and I kinda just need to pat them on the head and dismiss them like, “that’s nice dear, have a cookie and go play now”

It’s heartbreaking, really. Society puts so much weight on physical appearance, especially for women. But the truth is, identity runs deeper than any external feature. It’s built on resilience, intellect, kindness, and so much more. Those who rely solely on appearance are missing deep, true beauty.

i believe i technically fall into gen x (having been born in '79) but i seem to have more in common with elder millennials. so, i actually kinda do appreciate the xennial carve out!
