Here in Warwickshire we've got a fucking teenager running the council. First action was to change the rules to stop the Pride flag being flown. I resent someone being in charge for whom pubes are still a novelty.

A frankly tiny number of people, in the grand scheme of things, with every right to do so coming to UK is hardly a "surge", but such language automatically frames them as a negative and is guaranteed to be used to stoke more division.

There is no morality ultimately underpinning anything American now - and to an extent also the UK - so these routes are ultimately going to fail. What makes these people change is money. We need to recognise this and start making choices that will hurt them in the pocket.

The only thing that will change X is by people - or more specifically, organisations - leaving it. We can't expect a social media site to 'do the right thing' any more. Only loss of income will change it. It's unacceptable that the UK government still uses it.

X has decided that 8 examples do violate the rules, but is only labelling the tweets, not removing them.

It has not suspended the user (which is feeble)
