Hi @bsky.app @support.bsky.team I really liked when I joined how nearly all pictures had AltText. I liked how I could set a reminder to add it. I don't usually need it, but, I like to make it easy for others. Can the default be to need it and someone has to go into settings to turn the reminder off?

Nobody wants it as a story but I have multiple NYPD sources who voted for Mamdani, are eager for his win in November, and who say their colleagues quietly feel the same.

They like that he wants NYPD to focus on crime, not quality of life enforcement.

In my errands, I noticed that the Fox River brand of salted pollock -- the only one from Canada at my grocery -- is no longer in the case. Pawing through the packages, I found one brand from Peru. All the others are Product Of China.

I'll see how this one is. I miss the Fox River one 😕

Fun fact about the Salvation Army: they use a form of substance use treatment called work therapy. Oh, and by treatment, I mean they have people who have been convicted of drug charges work for their stores & warehouses in exchange for room, board, around a $1 a week, and minimal actual therapy.

Good Morning! It's super windy in NYC with a storm moving up the East Coast. I've had my tea and Sunday Civics' 9 am broadcast is over (rebroadcast of 2020's interview w/ NYS AG James, will be on again at 1 & 6) and I have to go out and dump compost and get yogurt and eggs from the green market.
