An atmospheric river followed by a Pacific storm will bring periods of gusty winds with low elevation heavy rain and high elevation snow to parts of the northwestern U.S through the weekend.

Forecast liquid precipitation across the Northwestern US Friday through Monday morning, October 24-27, 2205. The heaviest rainfall is expected along the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and northern California where generally more than 1.5 inches of rain is expected. Some localized areas could see more than 4 inches.
