Two new NSFW related links on my linktree and added a “newest” section to my Halloween 2025 doc so people who do look at it (if anyone) don’t have to go hunting through several pages for my latest additions. linktr.ee/salarta

Watching people being brutalized by the state, secure in the knowledge that I'm safe because I don't do anything wrong. And the best part? The state can't suddenly and arbitrarily redefine what "wrong" means

It’s the complete lack of any emotion or individual creativity that really makes this erotica a cut above the rest. It’s very hot to know it came from a machine regurgitating strings of words with zero thought or passion behind it.

Sam Altman: “we’re gonna give you erotica for verified adults”

Me: “yeah sure but can it do this” *shows you weird shit that would fry the AI in milliseconds*

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year
We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

A decade-long effort by immigration restrictionists to overturn Obama-era rules allowing the spouses of H-1B holders to legally work (people potentially here for decades while their spouse waits in employment visa backlogs) has now finally been put to bed.

The Supreme Court passed on a challenge to employment eligibility for spouses of H-1B visa holders.

The DC Circuit had upheld the lawfulness of work permits for H-4 dependent visa holders last year.

ma'am. you're 77 & have clearly been in politics a long time. it's okay to retire & from a party perspective, probably helpful given the razor thin margins there around votes.

Major news outlets have said they will not agree to the Pentagon's new press policy, which violates journalists’ “First Amendment rights, and the rights of Americans who seek to know how taxpayer-funded resources and personnel are being deployed.” Others have said it is "flatly unconstitutional."
Major News Outlets Will Refuse to Sign “Unconstitutional” Pentagon Press Policy
The policy would bar reporters from seeking or reporting information not explicitly authorized by the Trump admin.
