I can't imagine how irritating it was for you, because it sounds like you'd just gotten into the book right before this happened. It's weird how much that happens in comics, a cartoon brings in new fans just in time to see the comic version get crapped on and/or killed off for a replacement.

It kinda felt like anything that wasn't X-Men and Spider-Man suffered back then, and sometimes it almost felt like it was on purpose (even if it wasn't). The Crossing made me quit reading the book.

It felt like they were trying to pull a Parallax with Tony Stark but even more EXTREME and more in "big event" form. Mostly, it just felt like desperation back when I read it.

Sorry, gotta laugh at the people mad at that trade industry ad. Unserious people unlike me, who is still mad at the Battletoads for this ad. Different case because the Battletoads are 100% real and made the ad themselves.

It's funny how much the Classified Col. Hawk head looks like the Joe vs. Cobra era custom I made of Hawk, so you know I'm going to see if this new Col. Hawk head works on the Gen. Hawk torso.

Classified Hawk and the MMS hit BBTS right before I had to have Crasher shipped from my Pile of Loot. I'm glad they reissued Crasher, because I missed the earlier version, and it's STILL weird to call her a Transformers figure.

So the CGI wasn't a big issue,

Its that Tron was made mostly by filming the actors in black & white and then having Kodak print that into GIANT FILM they invented *for Tron*

so they cud treat the live action footage as animation cells and color them using backlit animation techniques

There are plenty of people who want to cover these games. Every newsroom I've been in has a ton of people who want to hype up indie games.

But they've all been laid off, or their sites are shuttering, or they're saddled with mandates from higher ups that they need to focus on SEO content.

It's 48 hours since Little Rocket Lab launched, we've been top of New and Trending for the entire time, 94% rating on Steam, huge player numbers, big numbers on Game Pass, tons of streams and YT videos...

and we've still received next to no press at all

The press for smaller games is just dead.
