Between the games themselves being fun but shallow and the fandom being a superfund site, the fandom ended up being the demise of the whole ordeal. Nobody wanted to be associated with their lunacy!

Whenever I get anxious in my cluttered office, I always remind myself:
“Whoa, whoa, whoa. There's still plenty of meat on that bone.”

When you have a tenant struggling with mental illness or addiction, it really hurts everyone around them. Ideally, we’d have some kind of public infrastructure to help take care of people like that, but that battle was lost well before were born. In the short term, maybe some earplugs would help?

Dude‘s always working out and wearing t shirts documenting marathons he’s done. I think he’s taking care of himself. Still, anything can happen.

Sorry for any confusion but let’s make it clear, we are releasing GARO in the future and we are actually starting with Kiba, Taiga, Red Requiem, Wailing Dragon and Under the Moon.
Actually just starting to figure out the configuration, extras and the like so no clue yet.

The Amazing Overlooked Women in the Anime Industry
We’ve made massive strides compared to where we started, but there are still plenty of names that go overlooked—especially women, even on high-profile shows.

@hidive.com is on Bluesky, but here's a screencap from their Twitter account where they state what should feel obvious when it comes to the idea of using AI for anime translation & timing... but in today's world it's unfortunately not so obvious.

Good on Hidive, regardless.

Yes, Portland, a seething hotbed (checks notes) gourmet coffeehouses, geriatric punk bands, and thoroughly pillaged thrift stores. Truly the decline of western civilization.
