It has been upsetting watching the establishment hurl itself at Mamdani but I think the other way to read that is that there really is a *better* politics possible and he shows that it is REAL.

We could have this.

Thank you! And if you appreciate music, that is a trait/attribute, or I would say virtue, that some people don’t have, and I feel sorry for those that don’t; listening to music has gotten me through tough times, and it is a big part (the listening/enjoying) of what helps us keep going.

And,of course,180db by this scale is 10,000 times louder than threshold of pain.I can tell you when Rick and I were by the runway(~50 feet away from jet taking off) we were being significantly vibrated by sound,but with our fingers in our ears,was not painful.Was somewhat painful w/o fingers though.

I wonder if they are using DB-A or… I think it’s DB-C? It’s been too many years since studying this, I just usually use sound pressure meters to measure sound pressure levels these days. I also don’t remember the difference between the two standards. I thought it was only like 4db or so.

Very good point. That (Jet “gift” or should I say grift?) already happened; although DJT does have the attention span of a hyperactive gnat, others pulling his strings in this regime can hold a thought for longer than 30 seconds.
