I always was so fascinated by this dynamic. Mueller is appointed to be impartial because he is a Republican and then of course Biden needs to appoint Robert Hur to investigate him because he's a Republican!

Gabe, only right wingers can be trusted to be independent and objective. That's why whenever a Dem needs another Dem investigated they appoint a Republican. And when they need to investigate a Republican they tap a Republican. Or when they need a compromise justice they nominate someone...

Was told Ward 8 challenger Josh Bassais had Jacob Frey on his web site but has taken Frey off now. Wayback Machine hasn’t archived, but Frey isn’t there now. Anyone have the inclusion they can post? Anyway, Bassais was featuring Frey about a month ago, after being coy for months. Winds changed back?

Yes it could be argued that keeping up with world events is important but alternatively can I interest you in hugging an ancient mossy boulder that looks like a face and quietly listening while it tells you stories from centuries cloaked in mist.

A lovely mossy boulder with a face. I walked past this venerable stone gentleman on Dartmoor when I was beginning to write my first novel, Villager, and it whispered all 104,000 words of the book to me. So now I have to pay it all of my royalties. Unfortunately my ex-publisher stopped paying me royalties last year. Understandable, the boulder was not happy. But now I have a new publisher and the book is being republished this Thursday. So remember if you purchase a copy you will be helping a boulder to eat, pay the rent on his riverside moss garden, and feed his boulder family.

This week in 1988: 1,000+ ACT UP demonstrators shut down the FDA headquarters, demanding (and eventually winning) action on developing HIV/AIDS treatments. ACT UP's militant and creative actions always included powerful visual artwork, and paved the way for movements in the decades to come.
