This is just test tube stuff. It's a growing medium for plants that is friendly to all of their companions.

I'd chuck it in the biohazard bin once I was done with it

This soil medium wouldn't be useful for that.

This stuff is more for using with genetically modified chanterelles that give off light under certain circumstances so that we can see in a test tube how the initial interaction between tree and fungi happens, what chemical runs drive it, etc

It's for doing lab work. The equivalent of a new petri dish medium. But you use it for plants so that you can potentially inoculate them with soil microorganisms and watch what they do.

The pdf is free to download btw. I'm gonna read it tomorrow. Pretty darn sure this is the stuff I need

Why didn't we get those on the regular. It's like they saved up all the good ones and put them in the CW/LRP packs.

Also, aside from the... water problems, the freeze dried meals were always light years ahead in flavor and edibility and WEIGHT.

Halfway through OEF8 we got so tired of all that trash that we went head-over-heels for the LRP and Cold Weather MREs

All of it freezer dried. The beef stew was amazing.

Until you were 14 days out on an OP, low on water, and nomming on freeze dried fucking blocks.
