A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

He went to a school that observed Hitler's birthday, in a lake colony of Germans where "Heil Hitler" was still a common greeting in the late 70s. While his dad worked for a uranium mine that was a slave operation and apparently part of an attempt by SA to develop nukes.

So he says. The fact that his parents left Germany during the third set of Frankfurt-Auschwitz Trials, found the US not to their tastes, and moved to SA-occupied Namibia during the apartheid years suggests much to me about what sort of "church" he was brought up in.

In his last lecture, Thiel also responds during the Q&A portion to a question about potential 2028 presidential candidates and whether they are antichrist or katechon. When asked about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Thiel says that he worries about there being a “woke American pope”– Pope Leo XIV – and a “woke American president”, creating a “Caesar-Papist fusion”. He goes on to talk about Ocasio-Cortez in relation to Thunberg:

I think a lot of non-Christians following the coverage of Thiel's silliness might be surprised to learn that "the Antichrist" is an obscure, minor, and ultimately doomed figure in the Christian eschatology. This is not LOTR. The victory is already won, the end of the story already written.
