Did you know that when jellico took over the enterprise some of the changes he made were actually cast requests. Like Marina wanted to wear a uniform for a long time and patrick Stewart hated the fish in captivity in his office.

I think this can be traced back to when I was 8 and had my Ultimate Uncut dvds for Dragon Ball Z and out of curiosity I swapped the language over to Japanese, saw the show open with Cha-La Head Cha-La for the first time, and realized DBZ was a tonally different show than I assumed it was
The sad fact is that I'm the type of bitch who finds watching the opening and ending to every episode of a show incredibly important and changing or removing it dramatically effects my enjoyment of a show, which means I am now finding ways to make sure I get the opening and endings with my episodes
