True. However, I’m just used looking the way I do after almost 40 years. I do wear makeup and nail polish sometimes. Style wise though it’s hard to see myself in anything other than a T-shirt or jeans, etc. I realize I don’t own society androgyny as an NB person, but I wish I was more adventurous.

I tried to express my NB-ness as a kid/ teenager but I didn’t know it was even a legit way to feel back in the 90’s. My parents were dismissive of me bringing it up so I stopped sharing it.

Over the years I learned about trans/NB people like me, but now I’m just stuck looking like a plain guy. 🤷‍♂️

Found out that the way deal with stress/ depression is called “radical acceptance.” Basically I just say to myself, “Wow! The world is a real shitty place. I hope future me is able to handle it better,” and go to sleep.

I did not know this was an approved technique. I’ve been doing it for years.

Of the Muppets, Gonzo is a standout. His sassiness and basic invulnerability to pain make him entertaining to me. He’s at his best when he’s just being weird and not necessarily trying to be funny.

Of Sesame Street, I love Cookie Monster and Grover.

If you don’t know, Nintendo stealth dropped an animated short with no explanation.

I’ve seen people theorize it might be a new Mother game or just a cute Pixar style short.

My personal theory is that it’s an ad for a new Chibi-Robo! Game with Chibi-Robo removed obviously.

TV always makes it look like doctors will keep you at the hospital 24/7 until they figure out your ailments.

In actuality, they’re like, “I dunno, man. Go home.” It’s so frustrating that I’ve been dealing with getting proper diagnoses for 10+ years. Hoping to make more progress tomorrow.

Around 1997 or so our uncle gave my brother and me his Laptop as a hand-me-down. The thing probably weighed 5lb+ and had black and white display. But we were blown away that it had a ton of Atari games like Asteroids and Battlezone running on it!

You know what crazy to me? I remember having a rotary phone until I was at least 5 years old. Hell! My grandparents had an old two-piece rotary phone into my teens.

Now we’re posting things instantaneously and chatting with people around the world! We don’t have flying cars, but the future is here.

AI programmers are more concerned with advancing to the next shiny iterations, than fixing broken problems. AI is will continue to be looked at as slop or unethical as long as programmers just push it further along without addressing public outcry or software shortfalls.

IMO, a lot of the people that stand up for AI unwaveringly are also the same people that hesitate to grant basic human rights universally. 🤔 It’s a push to make people less important, which fits with that overall narrative.
