Being disabled is weird because I’ll get devastating news about my health and I’ll just be like, “Ha! I was right! You gaslighting mfs!” I’m just relieved that my symptoms are real and I’m finally experiencing validation. It’s not the first time this has happened either.

think I might start an alternate for my video game opinions (because the world is sorely missing the sort of thing /jk.) Mostly because I don’t think the content I want to make would match the scatterbrained feed I put out here. It will still be scatterbrained, just different. 🤷‍♂️

Something that I think about almost often...

The Trump Administration and the "pro-life" GOP killed thousands of children around the world.

The Shutdown of U.S.A.I.D. Has Already Killed Hundreds of Thousands
The short documentary “Rovina’s Choice” tells the story of what goes when aid goes.

Wife: Gotta love having kids. I just stepped in a random wet spot.
Me: Probably a melted ice cube.
Wife: It felt sticky.
Me: Oh! That’s piss then.

Me at 1am to my wife: I’m going to bed soon.

Me reading a random Wiki and realizing it’s 3:30am: Uh-oh.

Whenever my wife wants to go somewhere, I’m like, “I’m bringing Bob.” Bob is my cat. She is like, “They don’t take cats.” So I’m like, “Bob, Muppet-Man?”

Bad news: Senator John Fetterman's book isn't selling. We need to support our Democratic senators if we want to take back Congress in 2026. That means walking the walk and putting our money where our mouth is — even if we disagree sometimes.

Support the Fetterman Book Fund!

The audacity of spiriting away one of their employees and then continually returning to ask for food! JFC
I’m still struggling with the fact that ICE “brown shirts” went to a taco shop and thought they would get served.

F that!

I grew up with my dad forcing us to eat habaneros for breakfast. I have since enjoyed a lot of spicy food.

Now my kids eat plain McDonald’s McNuggets and say they’re too spicy. I don’t want to force it on them though.

Amazing, no notes, I do not desire to learn anything else about this story, for it would only detract from the perfection on this headline.

“Who watches the Watchmen?” to quote Alan Moore.

Who’s decides what parameters AI uses to censor or discard “irrelevant” information? How does AI decides decide what’s important culturally, historically, politically, etc?

A person has to program or direct the narrative at the end of the day.
The plow, the steam engine, electricity — all replaced muscle. AI replaces cognition. If you spend your day “reading lots of stuff and turning it into straight English,” well… so does the machine. The goal now is to learn from history and cushion the blow better than last time.
