I've been pretty quiet over the past few days, but I think it's worth sharing that I lost my boy last Friday.
Gryphon had a lot of complications suddenly arise from nowhere. Neither my partner and I were prepared. I am devastated.

Today was a nightmare. Gryphon is an extreme case of vertigo, possibly caused by thyroid issues. Vomiting, stumbling, drooling, unable to stand or sit upright.
I don't think it's Gryphon's time. Channel energy his way as he rests tonight. Tomorrow he'll be on new meds, so he may grow older still.

Had my first 40k game of 2026 today! It was also the first game against a Space Marine team - the Black Templars.
It was a lot of fun! I spread out to keep him from teleporting jerks into my lines. A solid win for me! I really need to finish painting my Votann army so I look pretty at 2k points.

Darkest Dungeon is one of my all time favorites. Gifted to me during an exceptionally difficult and isolating part of my life, it was a cathardic way to release my sadness and frustration. I will always be so thankful for it.

I finished painting the bigger explosion. Not perfect, just till I was happy with them. It's been a nice feeling to just work on something until I'm satisfied.
