for every person actively trying to keep track of these guys there are 50 people who are just trying to go about their day that also fucking hate them! as soon as one whistle blows/horn honks and it draws the attention a ton of people who were just minding their business immediately jump in

I don’t know if you know this but as evidenced by my changing outfits and the changing light, a drawing can take several hours, several days, several months or even several years. A lot of work is hiding in that beautiful picture

And I keep telling myself: art needs space. Art needs boredom. You need yo get bored. You need yo get your head space empty. You need to start craving for something to get ideas. You need time for walking for hours and just observe. Art needs to grow from being resourceful not dry

For all of the creatives fretting about not being productive, this is a great reminder:

It's cold and the world is overwhelming. So, I'm resting!

Feeling grateful for plants this morning. Which is such a funny thing to say, but they (specifically my native garden) remind me of the seasonality of life & how there's a time to grow and a time to rest, how planting seeds for the future is something you spend your whole life doing. This is good.

My roommate is a teacher and has reported that ICE has been hanging around Septa stops and depots in the interest of abducting kids on their way home because they aren’t allowed to enter schools. They claimed to be part of a “Septa Strike Force” which does not exist. Boost if you can.
