Restore Britain's convoluted way of calliing for Britain to take no refugees at all.

UK should only ever give refugee status to genuine asylum seekers from neighbouring countries, which, given every one of our neighbours is a safe country "would effectively mean scrapping our whole asylum system"

If cuts to Medicaid and Medicare in a region are bad enough to force a hospital to close, that hospital’s ER is going to be affected just as much if not more (almost always probably more). You have to be incredibly stupid to not understand this.

ER doc here! There is no such thing as “an ER model” hospital. An ER w/o a hospital is like a bandaid on a bullet hole. What if you need surgery? Cardiac cath? Specialist care? Increased distance means delays, which mean real harms & even deaths. But, also, when hospitals close their ERs close, too…

Wow. Greg Bovino admits on camera that his agents can detain people if you look scared, change your demeanor, or grip a steering wheel too tight.

As his unmasked agents walk around with large guns to scare you, they may arrest you just for that — even if you're a U.S. citizen.

Can you put into words what that purpose is? You and the frog have really become icons of this protest.

There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.

What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.

It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. When they try to describe this situation as “war-torn,” it becomes much harder to take them seriously when they have to post a video saying [U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security] Kristi Noem is up on the balcony staring over the Antifa Army and it’s, like, eight journalists and five protesters and one of them is in a chicken suit.

So as obviously deadly as the primary weapons of both animals are and would be to each other...I actually think a "good bite" from the theropod might have a greater chance of rapid incapacitation or death than a "good stab" from the ceratopsian would.

Hell, there's a reason spears used to hunt boars, bears, or tigers had lugs behind the spear head: so the stabbed prey item couldn't move up the spear shaft and maul the hunter.

Granted, ceratopsids had relatively much more room for leg musculature than do extant rhinos and elephants, which would allow them to put a lot more force behind a goring. But even if a Trike punched a horn through a part of rex's body, if it fails to incapacitate it b/c--

Here is a white rhino that was gored by an elephant. Granted, it received medical attention and could have died w/out it. But still, it did not immediately die even after being gored by an animal ~3x its size.
