Then there's the other type. See, I was trying to go with a couple oldheads who saw Rush back in the day, here's a few quotes they served me when I asked about their budget.

I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't say that I'm eyeballing these tickets too but this mindset of putting luxuries on a pedestal like this helps perpetuate the economic insanity this regime inflicts on everybody but the ultra-rich.

ticket prices are, how unemployment is sweeping the nation, benefits are being cut and they're still investing all their savings into something that's not only temporary but unnecessary.

Now look, I really enjoy Rush but there's no way I'm gonna sacrifice my livelihood for Geddy Lee's bank account.

going behind their wife's back to open up new cards so she won't see them buying tickets, selling cars/re-mortgaging their homes, Klarna, etc all to buy tickets to a show that won't happen for another year! They're forgoing life's responsibilities while holding awareness of how ridiculous (cont.)

This is gonna be awfully cynical but with the whole Rush ticket prices debacle, I'm coming to the realization that the US economy is held up entirely by the AI bubble and debt.

Price =/= quality. There's a bunch of good spendy N64 games (CBFD, Bomberman Second Attack, Indiana etc) but there's a TON of slop that's just market manipulation (Clayfighter, Rat Attack, Super Bowling, Stunt Racer, Carmageddon).

Don't let balding idiots running game stores convince you otherwise.

I swear this game is only remembered because of how stupid rare Sculptor's Cut is. I remember some YouTubers trying to convince me it was good way back when and....no.

Its one of those fighting games where you don't need more than a minute to realize it sucks shit.

When clay sculptures of funny animals and racist caricatures collide, there's hell to pay for players on N64. The game is clearly unfinished, and a late pivot from 2D to 3D arenas leads to issues with stage geometry getting in the way of fights.

Well, look at it this way, you get to meet an absolute legend, probably the best bass player to ever pick one up along with one of the greatest guitarists out there as well. You get to talk to them and say how much their music means to you. Went through a similar thing with Weird Al (cont.)
