Like Wilt's 100 points, Cal's 2,632 game streak, Nikki Torres filing for State Senate in three different legislative districts in a single year is an untouchable record. #waleg

Man, what a great call by the Mariners. The old Sunday uniforms were great but this is so meaningful, especially with it coming with a commitment in the community. And as we all have known, the Steelheads unis are flawless.

Live in Seattle and had to drive to the suburbs to see Wake Up Dead Man because Netflix had no showings in the biggest city in the Pacific Northwest.

Counterpoint: No, it’s not. Compete, sell, or shut up. No one forced you to buy the house and not furnish it.

The leagues that broke their unions convinced US sports fans that leagues should be collectives. They should not. Competition rules.
I don’t get this at all. Raising the bar is great. But there are limits to everything. I don’t care if the dodgers have an advantage over the Pirates or other teams who refuse to spend. But it’s a league problem if they’re putting $100M+ more on the field every day than other high-spending teams.

Ah yes, Thin Blue Line bumper stickered car showing ultimate respect for law enforcement by illegally parking on the wrong side of the road within a few feet of both a fire hydrant and a stop sign.

couldn't agree more. there's nowhere in Seattle RRFBs are good replacement for a 4-way stop. I especially dislike them where greenway routes cross arterials. Drivers do not yield unless you aggressively step or roll into the road even with lights activated. and sometimes, they don't even stop.
Pretty much every "nighthawk" intersection should be a stop sign.

Bad street design, purposely meant to increase traffic speeds in pedestrian heavy areas.
Just after midnight last night, a driver struck and killed a 38-year man who was riding his bike at Beacon Avenue S and S Stevens Street in a hit-and-run.

If tiny cars are too dangerous to be allowed on our streets, think of how it feels to be a pedestrian or cyclist!
Unlike Europe and Asia, NHTSA & Congress have failed to create a regulatory category for minicars. Because they flunk US safety rules for full-sized cars, they’re effectively illegal to sell.

Only “collectable” minicars cars 25+ years old can be legally sold (and they’re quite popular).
What Do US Vehicle Regulators Have Against Tiny Cars?
Super-small urban vehicles have found a place in European and Asian cities. But in the US, federal and state rulemakers seem determined to keep minicars at bay.
