If, like us, you have long-loved the book covers and illustration in the films of Wes Anderson, might I so highly recommend the exhibition at London's Design Museum: Crow and I had a wonderful time seeing these and many more up close! (Not to mention all the glorious costumes...) 💙📚

so much for not thinking about technology, got run in circles trying to sort some details out with the AA and ended up with a bloke at the helpdesk explaining that no it just doesn't work in this specific situation, then ranting at me about how appalling their systems were

I think this is one of the reasons I'm so tech-angry and tech-tired and so desperately want to facilitate positive use of computers: my dad was part of the dawn of the computer and I have inherited so very much of his fury of the choices made ever since.

Once apparently NatWest Bank Threadneedle St got given a Ferranti Pegasus computer and they didn't want it, so they just left it outside Fenchurch St Station in the rain until it was unusable and I respect this approach to tech refusal

They had the audacity to claim Bluesky didn't have the juice, but not since peak Twitter have I logged off for an evening and come back to my entire feed speaking in a new language of rapid-fire in-jokes that I have to reverse-engineer to figure out what's happening. That, my friends, is The Juice.
