Founders on LinkedIn still seem to be struggling with the difference between telling people about their humble beginnings and admitting to straight up committing fraud.

Pay squeezes in freelance creative jobs are a grim scene.

The expected payments for most musical jobs as a freelancer are the same in figure terms as they were when I first started doing this 25 years ago.
Last time I checked my current rate at one publisher was $70 less than my starting rate there almost 20 years ago, when accounting for inflation. It'll be even worse now.
The one about comic book page rates – again. News flash: Comic book page rates are STILL stagnant, after all these years, and for indie cartoonists it's even harder

Shortly I will be sharing the annual Prudence Yuletide post, and because we are not in an algorithmic space, you might see me share it a few times whilst our offer is open! Please share it at random (esp if you're in the UK!) if so-minded, and do bear with the repetition across time and platform ❤️

It is a wonderful thing that, despite the fact that they've been around for 26 years, drivers of Smart cars still often smile and wave at each other when passing :) The happiest little vehicles.

Was feeling incredibly peaky all day, but an uncharacteristically hot bath and a concerningly large bowl of protein eaten in bed in front of YouTube has worked wonders. Is it bedtime now?

I'm just so exhausted by Labour's pathetic unwillingness to understand the university sector and how it is tied into every other industry in the country.

They seem determined to destroy the UK.

Always a good year to get Christmas cards from the RNLI
Yes I will!
RNLI crews are volunteers who willingly put their own lives on the line to save anyone in danger — no matter their background, nationality, or circumstance. Attacking them simply because some of the people they rescue are migrants is not just unfair, it’s disgraceful.
