Knowing they can’t easily deliver on mass deportation, Trump will want to make the public believe—especially those who could be potentially impacted—they can remove anyone and everyone.

That terror will have real consequences.
Fear is the goal
Trump's anti-immigration push is backed by intense propaganda for a reason.

I've heard it said elsewhere that when you're used to supremacy and dominance, equality FEELS like oppression.

POTUS is just reiterating that axiom.

When you're an armed agent of the state, it is YOUR responsibility to de-escalate. ALWAYS. If people mock and scream at you, you have to take it. ALWAYS. If people call you names, you have to take it. ALWAYS.

If you can't restrain violent tendencies, you shouldn't be in law enforcement.
"Quit demonstrating" is not something that a pro-democracy politician says. It's something that an authoritarian tool says.
Rep. Roger Williams: "People need to quit demonstrating, quit yelling at law enforcement, challenging law enforcement, and begin to get civil."

I voted for Jesse when he ran for MN Governor in 1998. I protested him in 2001 when he maligned union state workers. He's an odd political figure to say the least.

He's right on the money in this interaction.
Ex-Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura: “We’re a 3rd world country now. I know. I’ve been to ‘em. I spent 17 months in SE Asia while the draft dodger was playing golf… that’s what happens in a dictatorship. In comes the military. That’s what’s happening here.” 🇺🇸

Pro tip: don’t take your medical advice from a man who can’t tell the difference between a viral chainsaw massacre and a viral pillow fight—or who thinks measles and chickenpox are just two flavors of the same popsicle.

Remember, the Secretary of Transportation is absolutely terrified of this subway system. Just mentioning the ACE line will reduce him to tears.

And yet ...
Freaking love this city and all the people in it so much….a bunch of people went and turned the 4 train into the Polar Express giving out toys to kids along the way from the Bronx to Brooklyn….shoutout to the @newyorkers.live account on IG for doing this 🙏 www.instagram.com/reel/DSnsvWS...

Stop criticizing Trump's bad economy. You're making him sad.

You think you've got it hard trying to put food on the table? Try being President Donald Trump, the billionaire saint of perpetual grievance.

Donald Trump is swiftly losing control of his presidency, and he has it in his head that 'affordability' is a hoax and not a real word.

Christopher Moynihan is a violent insurrectionist who was pardoned by Donald Trump.

He was just re-arrested for threatening to kill Rep. Hakeem Jeffries.

He shouldn’t have been pardoned in the first place.
