me trying to rub any media that will distract me from the state of the world through my scalp straight to my brain
A drawing of a bald man frantically rubbing liquid from a bowl on his pate. There are Icelandic and English captions, with the English reading: “BUTTERWORT - The extract of butterwort was used to strengthen the scalp to prevent baldness.”

the zenith of architectural design
A lifeguard tower on a sunny HK beach. The tower stands on a small cylindrical base, upon which is a round covered platform in which the lifeguard sits. A wide window in the platform area faces the water, as though the building itself is vigilant. It’s covered in small white tiles, and a spiral staircase winds around it.

remember that time john ashbery roasted all our asses in 'Paradoxes and Oxymorons'?
It has been played once more. I think you exist only
To tease me into doing it, on your level, and then you aren’t there
Or have adopted a different attitude. And the joke
Has set me softly down beside you. The joke is you.

[Both instances of 'joke' have clearly been added using MS Paint.]
