Hi, BS! It’s my birthday and I want more followers (I’m shallow) so I’m doing the introduction thing:

I’m 55 today, so 💯Gen X. Used to call myself an actor but it turns out I just liked hanging out with theater people. Now I do PR for architects.

I ran for Congress once.

If you want to submit an online comment to your senator or representative, you have to first use a drop-down menu to select a topic for your message... and the list of topics is going to be sanitized in a way that obstructs you from being heard.

This is the drop-down menu that lets you pick a topic before sending a message to Senator Chris Murphy. Other members of Congress use similar drop down menus.

One of the things that's terrifying about what's happening now is the number of Republicans who won't stand up to Trump because they're cowards who are terrified of backlash. MGT strikes me as just unhinged enough to not be sensitive to that, which turns out to be a liability for them.

Like, I think a lot of the hostility to UB would be way less, if not entirely gone, if it was more the "one lotr/ff big set and one who/40k small product per year" model than 4 out of the 7 tentpole sets.

I was thinking for months about whether and how to build Iron Man, then WM emerged and I was like oh shit that's IT. My build isn't even particularly optimized, it's entirely about making bombs and blowing things up. So much fun.
