I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

Teen Vogue has been one of the few platforms publishing actual investigative news stories exposing the harassment and targeting of trans people in the UK - at a time when no UK publication will touch it.

That they’re no longer covering politics is a massive loss! 😣😖

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

There's an Olympic trained swimmer that comes to the pool, she purposely moved to the area so she can swim every morning before work. These are the life decisions that I want to make too - based on my enjoyment.
