This is hugely important. I have two barriers to masking: autism and childhood trauma that gives me panic feelings when my mouth is covered.
I also have a compromised immune system and so does my spouse.
I hate that the assholes think I'm one of them and the maskers think I'm an asshole.

I think masking is a serious issue for those who are capable of it and that we absolutely should address the ways in which autistic people can unmask and other people can support them. I also believe the majority of content I see around masking these days is dressed up white lady lifestyle shit.
