I hope he knew how much he meant to us as a people. I think that’s why these losses of our cherished artists feel so heavy because they had a soulful deep abiding love for Black art and took it seriously, and we’re not seeing that artisitc stewardship as time progresses in our culture.

Saying that you are going to end rule of law in America if a judge does not rule your way is a threat against the U.S. as serious as any foreign incursion—and indeed would be considerably more ruinous to the nation he swore an oath to protect.

The thing about 'viewpoint diversity' is that taken to its logical extreme it means you must go out of your way to include liars and scoundrels because they too have viewpoints
I had a liberal centrist — a professional — once tell me that they engage with more diversity at a Bari Weiss dinner party than they do in any mainstream media event.
I mention this because, just as it is true in politics at the moment, some of the calls are coming from inside the house.
