`cargo publish --workspace` is now available on nightly and the cargo team is looking for feedback to see if this can be stabilized!

This is why I believe AI is over hyped. Does anyone want to consume AI generated content? AT ALL?

My new idea of hell is reviewing AI generated meeting notes; or worse, Confluence pages.
It's a massive drain of time and energy to comb through pages of "frufru" LLM-generated text to fact-check every point. It would have been less work to have just taken the meeting notes myself. 🙁

I have significant doubts that general Project Managers have a deep enough understanding of the domain to effectively spot hallucinations.
Previously I'd be asked for clarification if there was ambiguity or uncertainty. Now I get a page of weasel-worded prose instead of clear concise points.

End of another day working on fastn v0.5. The "resolver", which converts a minimal parse tree to "resolved" / type checked AST. This part of design is brand new in 0.5, a (hopefully) proper type checker. No inference etc yet, but just a dedicated phase in compiler.

The interesting this about self declaration labels on content is it does scale. On a platform with 24 million users there are actually 24 million moderators, one moderator per person. It’s you! Labelling adult content as such is really low effort and the right thing to do. Remember consent?…
