Scott Morrison’s plan, supported by Anthony Albanese of “living with the virus” is financially unsustainable.

And yes.

I said that before they infected you all.

A Google software engineer won his battle against MetLife to receive disability benefits for Long Covid.

This is huge

Long Covid has a lot of stigma attached to it and it can be hard to get disability.

You’re told to “try harder”.

It’s “not that bad”.

You can “still work”.

Not everyone can

(and they will ask you)
If you are tired
of wearing a mask all the time,
you can tell them yes
or you can tell them no,
but be sure to tell them
that what you are really tired of
is everyone you know
getting sick all the time.

Although I have only a layperson's understanding of Covid-19, I do understand enough to know that deliberately allowing Covid-19 to spread worldwide, without any control, is a grievous instance of extreme negligence, resulting in rampant contagion, mass illness, and excess mortality.

Nuzzi played a huge role in elevating RFK Jr—he’s now dismantling the US public health system & rolling back vaccines, causing death & disease

The Great Barrington Declaration dudes (MAGA/MAHA heroes!)—Bhattacharya & Kulldorff—were also crucial. The destruction of US public health is their legacy🤬

The decision to neglect chronic illnesses like Long Covid and ME/CFS, largely made on the basis of seeing only the costs and never the benefits of research, is by far the most expensive option.

Curing diseases is expensive. The only thing more expensive is ignoring them. The losses never end.
Just as some country's (e.g. Finland), are finding that it is cheaper to house the unhoused than not, the world may eventually realise that it is cheaper to prevent #LongCOVID, than not -
