er moet iets gebeuren, maar dit is wel zeer ingrijpend. Momenteel kosten pensioenen ongeveer 11,5% van het BNP. Bij ongewijzigd (!) beleid zou dat in 2070 naar schatting 13,7% zijn, wat nog steeds minder is dan wat nu al in bv. Oostenrijk en Italië naar pensioenen gaat.

With current technology, it is impossible to tell whether survey respondents are real or bots. Among other things, makes it easy for bad actors to manipulate outcomes. No good news here for the future of online-based survey research

the moral and legal costs of the anti-doping measures are quite serious. There are privacy issues and issues with burden of proof (and the presumption of innocence). Furthermore, I am rather skeptical that these measures work as good as people think they do.

relevant is denk ik het verschil in reële cumulatieve groei over de laatste 15 jaar. Als je 2010-2024 neemt en kijkt naar reële groei, dan kom je rond 20% uit voor EU en rond 40% voor VS.

het is totaal onduidelijk uit de post over welke periode De Keyser het had. Gaat het over groeicijfers per jaar, kwartaal of over cumulatieve groeicijfers over bv. de laatste vijf? Ook is niet duidelijk of hier gaat om 'echte' of nominale groei.

Pretty much no one can make their ideas clear to others on the 1st attempt. The two main reactions are "let's painstakingly clarify this with some back and forth", and "doesn't matter as long as the various interpretations are themselves interesting", leading to the 2 main branches of philosophy.
