Well sure no one demographic has a monopoly on shittiness. But looking at it from an anthropological perspective, some societies & cultures produce more child abusers than others. The rich seem to have more power in maintaining & reproducing that culture as they are the prime beneficiaries.
Hey so child abuse is not a political gotcha and if you are using it as one understand that a) I no longer trust you and b) I assume you are shitty to survivors. Poor people and lefties abuse children too. A lot. And they enjoy equal impunity for it.

And actual bona fide Leftists (as in the Left starts at anti-Capitalism) tend to be under-represented in Western government, banking, & the billionaire class. However, almost all of the victims exploited by these predators were from poor & working class backgrounds. And that should be called out.

Good news from Australia: power generation from coal down 4.6% and from gas down 27% in Oct-Dec, with more than half of power generated from carbon-free sources. Power prices were fell by nearly 50%, as they do when you have a lot of zero marginal cost generation.
