Been trying to read some isekai lately.

The fourth frame shows her giving a board presentation to citizens, with graphs and pictures of plants on it. She says: "Hello citizens. I’ve been reading too many trashy light novels lately, it’s gotten to the point where I read phrases like “I wasn’t going to free a slave without her consent” and think oh cool that’s progress.

Probably, once Aqua announced her graduation it put up a signal to every Hololive talent that a crossroads was approaching, and to seriously consider if they're still a match for what the corporation wants and if the corporation can still give what the talent needs.

Is it just me or should it be considered a miracle that none of the female talents in Hololive left in 2023. Pretty sure it was just Magni and Vesper from the Stars side.

A friend talked about a mobile game he was playing that had weird translation issues. I was once asked why so many translators are liberal, and when your job is literally to experience things from two disparate cultures and bridge that gap for mutual understanding, it is difficult to be right wing. Translation requires a deep empathy and knowing no culture is superior to another.
Empathy and compassion are part of an artist's (or any creative's) tool box. Our mode is to feel everything and boil it down, transferring it to our preferred medium for wider consumption. Without feeling deeply we're not doing it right. But it makes things incredibly intense at times!
