You've heard of #methane super-emitters at oil and gas facilities.

But have you heard of super-emitting LNG supply chains?

Our latest work uses satellite data on 12 LNG exporting countries to assess their GHG intensity.

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

At the end of the day, the Black Lives Matter era was about whether people should be killed in the street, and lots of people decided yeah and put those little blue flags on their cars. It spread to everyone because it stopped for no one.

1. This is probably a lie.
2. Carrying a gun is legal in the U.S.
DHS told Fox News the suspect was armed with a gun, which has been recovered by federal agents.
We are aware of reports of another shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave. We are working to confirm additional details. We ask the public to remain calm and avoid the immediate area.-City of Minneapolis

ICE just gunned down ANOTHER person, beating a man half to death before shooting him at point blank range. What the fuck are we doing?

ARREST ICE NOW. PROSECUTE ICE NOW.

I will not rest until every single one of these murderers is held accountable to the communities they terrorize.

ICE agents are America's failures, basically indistinguishable from lazy school shooters, losers who want to play Call of Duty on our streets against people who can't fight back. They have unlimited ammo and toss tear gas like they're pressing L1. They have to be defunded and jailed. All of them.

I'm just a simple country lawyer who has done some civil rights cases, but IMHO nine known deaths when *following* the manufacturer's instructions is more than enough to show the product is inherently unsafe, and everyone involved in its manufacture, distribution, and use is guilty of manslaughter.

I would argue that the case for dismantling ICE has, at this point, virtually nothing to do with larger questions of immigration enforcement and reform, it's just clearly incompatible with a free and democratic society to maintain a secret police force with sweeping and arbitrary authority.
Senator Gallego weighs in as well. Note that at the start of 2025 he was considered a *moderate* on immigration and co-sponsored the Laken Riley Act. Him and many other Dems have been increasingly horrified at what ICE is doing and shifted away from a "more enforcement" focus.

May be this was the climate policy we needed all along?

Have the US federal govt project intolerance, stupidity, and arrogance so much that everyone is figuring out how to stop buying fossil fuels from us?

Biden only paused future LNG permits. Trump will engineer a shadow ban on US LNG exports.
Fears grow over Europe’s soaring dependence on US gas imports
American LNG was meant to be a safe alternative to Russian gas. That’s no longer a given, with transatlantic relations in crisis.

When nearly every institution in the US has crumbled from fear or apathy or willful ignorance, the American people have not given up. And that should give all of us hope.
I know people keep saying this but it’s hard to communicate the depth of active resistance here. Like, I’m on random cafes and people are checking in for observation shifts. Signs everywhere. Folks in visibility vests on the corners. It’s wild. Absolutely wild.
