Living next to an MOD firing range means that I find it extremely normal that to drive to my neighbour leads me past a rusted out tank.

"Why doesn't HP have the same intergenerational relevance as Lord of the Rings"

Because it's mediocre and suffers from a terminal association with cringe millennials. Sorry. You could as well ask "Why doesn't Twilight have the same intergenerational relevance as Dracula."

Yesterday I made a vegan Spanakopita from a vegetarian cookery book called “Plantasia”. It added Kashmiri spice blend to the spinach and cheese mix, along with green peppers and red onion. Possibly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever cooked and didn’t take a single photograph.

One of the few positives about the last decade or so is people are starting to get hip to the fact that the Luddites were right all along.

This is Violet - isn't she beautiful? For some reasons the other outdoor ducks all picked on her and no matter what social combination we tried she ended up hiding, so we brought her indoors to live with the bunnies and special needs birds.

Making some Ramen today, first time making it from scratch. Quite excited but absolutely unsure what to put in it despite having eaten it numerous times.

Hello #WeeknightWriters! My name is Anthony, I have been writing for most of my life but decided to get it out into the world this year. It’s been an excellent week, just finished a short story and have been working on the first draft of my nameless novel.
Hello #WeeknightWriters! Come on in, introduce yourself and your WIP, and let us know how your writing week is going! (Or not going, that's fine too)

I sent the first draft to a friend to read, and they actually read it before I had chance to ask them to read it.

Living in the countryside is all fun and games until you step on a Frog barefoot on your patio. The frog is fine. Psychologically I no longer am.

First draft complete.

Pray for Anthony.

Second day of productive writing. Almost finished the first draft of a 7k story. Then I have to edit the crap out of it. But you know I get the temporary feeling of success of having done something.
