Burnout 3 is underrated as one of the very, very best games of all time because you can show Burnout 3 footage to people two decades later and their reaction will still be "hell yeah, this rules. I wanna play this right now."

Ten years ago today we shipped Firewatch. I say this every anniversary but it feels both like a lifetime ago and like it was yesterday. Thank you everyone who played it back then or played it today for the first time. Thank you to everyone on the team, I’m still so proud of what we made.

I legitimately love that Octopath Traveller‘s striking “sprites in 3d world with lots of filters” style became known as HD2D and lots of rpgs just ape it. I cling to it, it really feels like a sweet spot on the fidelity curve where you can make a big story game with like 5-10 people.
