Thanks, he's a lurcher and will grow so quick. I need to enjoy his smallness!

Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world,... I feel like I can't take it. And my heart is just going to cave in.

COMMENTARY: Between January and April of this year, an astounding quarter of all flights in the eastern Baltic Sea region experienced GPS disturbances.

And the fact that these incidents haven’t resulted in any aviation disasters so far is thanks to pilot skill.
Russia’s GPS interference is the new normal
Half a dozen countries are experiencing an extraordinary surge in GPS disturbances. But collectively, we can blunt the harm of these dangerous tactics.

I asked the Guardian’s research department to count up the number of stories in national newspapers about asylum seekers or small boats or refugees. They found 542 in just the past month. And how many on the cost of living or essentials or living standards? Just 45.

You've probably already read it but Mexican Gothic is a good spooky one. I'm about to read Hunger by Choi Jin-young.

Greta Thunberg annoys the right because she's a reminder that it's possible to stay true to your moral principles even when it's inconvenient, and they fucking hate that

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵

You don’t have to be called Steve or Stephen to work at Blackpool, but it does help.
A club statement from Blackpool saying Steve Bruce has been sacked along with coaches Steve Agnew and Stephen Clemence. Stephen Dobbie and Steve Banks will take temporary charge.

I would say that's about 45% of the apples from one tree. I lose a lot to birds, insects and windfall. It's always a good crop but this year is ridiculous.
Apple butter sounds delicious.

Finished picking this year's apples in the pouring rain before storm Amy landed. Considering how many I've already eaten and given away, this has been a bumper crop. My kitchen smells amazing.
Hundreds of red and pale green apples in large bowls and piled on the floor.

2022 marked a step further away from democracy for the UK and everyone just seems totally fine with it.
