WGN, this woman’s employer, is now reporting she was not charged with any crimes and was released.

Oh I agree. In rural Ohio during the 12’ Obama campaign, the Dems had field organizers and offices. Our rural county even got one and the organizing from that whole campaign brought local organizers together and made a lasting relationship that continued for YEARS despite no continued funding

I’d argue door knocking is not ineffective IF it is done properly and given the support needed for local groups to do it correctly.

It does go back to your original point of Dems using the same brain rotted consultants. I experienced that first hand going door to door for Sen Brown last year.

Accordingly, if an individual across the street from a federal building throws a rock or bottle at FPS officers on federal property, as many of these rioters are wont to do, FPS can leave federal property and either arrest the malefactors or take other appropriate action in line with FPS's continuum of force policies. FPS could even enter a private residence containing an identified sniper blocks away from a federal facility in order to eliminate that exigent threat. There is simply no legal barrier to FPS taking action off federal property where a reasonable nexus to protecting that property exists.

I'm at the scene where ICE abducted multiple people from Lincoln and Foster this morning.

A WGN producer was among the people taken, allegedly because she was among a group of bystanders who tried to intervene. ICE agents hit this car while making their getaway.
