I have never seen so many sweeping generalizations in a single paper. He was a JD PhD, he knew there was no way this would fly with anything resembling peer review. Just rage posting in a law review because he’s mad people were nailing companies for sex-based pay discrimination.

The effect of aggregation can be easily demonstrated via simulation.
This simulation assumes that the organization is composed
of engineers, (90% male,) and of lower level administrators, (90%
female). The data used in the regression analysis are provided in
Table 4 (Appendix D). It can be easily shown that when aggregated
data are used under these realistic conditions the difference
in compensation between these two groups can be interpreted as
evidence of discrimination against females. Even after controlling
for education and experience the coefficients for gender will be significant
(b 9600, p < .05); females were underpaid by $9,600. The
wage discrepancy, however, is not the result of sex discrimination,
but rather differences in field of study. Proper disaggregation of
the data by occupation would have shown that no compensation'
discrimination exists.

I don't think that's wrong, per se, but, if that is the only metric, we've got some issues.

I don't think it's going to work out in the way they think because what they are doing is to actually promote the protest and the date in a way that the organizers can't on their own. So lots of people will now be searching: October 18 protest who would have had no clue before.
