In one sense dramatic: Reform well ahead of Labour on understanding Britain, good team of leaders, and looking out for me - all key qualities of an election winner…but 2029 all to play for - 62% see them as extreme - and as result public still split on who will win - despite Reform polling lead

I do find this a bit disturbing - the estimate is that Gen Z will ultimately spend 25 YEARS of their lives looking at a screen….. reminded me of one of the stories in Sum (40 tales of the Afterlife by David Eagleman)

A giant in the world of electoral politics, polling and public opinion - his name pops up regularly in the "British General Election Of..." books for decades. RIP
Sir Robert Worcester, legendary pollster and founder of MORI (now Ipsos UK) has died at 91. He taught so many people so much about the value and importance of opinion polls in modern democracies - everyone in our industry and politics owes him a debt of gratitude.

Anyone who's studied British political parties, and especially Labour, will be sad to hear this news - Sir Bob was a true pioneer in the field. RIP.
